Image editing has become a really popular activity. That's because digital cameras can now be bought by anyone, having a very accessible price and are also becoming more and more advanced. But even the best digital camera cannot always produce perfect photos. That's why one may need to adjust and correct certain photos from time to time. The most used image editor is Adobe Photoshop. But despite its popularity, this program has some problems, it's difficult to use, takes a lot of system resources and it's also expensive. Using MS Paint is out of the question, as this program is too simple to correct and edit photos.

Image Tools is just what you are looking for. It's a simple Windows program which allows editing more images at the same time and applying different corrections to them, for making them perfect. The first thing to do after installing and launching the application is to import the desired images into the program. After doing that, Image Tools will automatically generate thumbnails for each of them, allowing the user to easily select the photos that need correcting and modifying. The program is compatible with a wide range of graphical formats, including JPEG, GIF, BMP and PNG.

After having selected the desired photos, one can apply various effects to them. These effects include sepia, grayscale, negative and so on. Besides correcting the appearance of photos, Image Tools can also edit them in various ways, allowing the user to resize or crop them and even to convert them into various image formats. Furthermore, watermarks can be added to certain images, for personalizing photos and protecting them against unauthorized copying.

After the desired images have been edited, the user can save them over the original files or as copies. Besides that, images can also be uploaded to the producer's website.

Pros:
It supports a wide range of image formats, including GIF, JPEG, PNG and BMP. Besides that, more photos can be added at once into the program's interface and can all have thumbnails generated automatically. Furthermore, the selected images can be corrected, by changing their brightness and contrast and by adding different effects to them. What's more, photos can be resized, cropped or converted to another format, using a different quality level.

Cons:
The process of generating thumbnails takes a bit too much time, especially when loading more photos into the program at once.
